Call for Referees

The Berlin Journal of Philosophy is a blind-submission, double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that will publish articles on all topics in the four traditional major areas of philosophical specialization, namely

The Journal will aim to publish three full-length, peer-reviewed articles for every invited, full-length review article on a recent significant book of the author’s choice (“recent” means “published within the author’s lifetime”).  Articles will be published online as they are accepted, and each published article will constitute an issue of the Journal. The acceptance rate for each peer-reviewed issue of the Journal will be posted at http://www.adrianpiper.com/berlinjphil/index.shtml . Each issue of The Berlin Journal of Philosophy will be publicly advertised.Call for Referees: At this time, there appears to be no extant philosophy journal that adheres to simultaneous policies of blind submissions, double-blind review, and anti-plagiarism. The Berlin Journal of Philosophy therefore innovates in adhering strictly to all three. The Journal seeks qualified, experienced, professionally trained philosophers to follow and apply these policies, as anonymous blind referees, in each of the above-listed areas of specialization. Referees’ identities are held in strictest confidence. The Journal offers referees an honorarium of €25,00/refereed paper, contingent on a contractual commitment to the anti-plagiarism policy at http://www.adrianpiper.com/berlinjphil/anti_plagiarism.shtml.
